Would you choose a store that didn't stock dyed/tattooed/unlabeled fish?       If so, take a moment and vote in the poll in our Fish and Aquarium General section.                     Would you choose a store that didn't stock dyed/tattooed/unlabeled fish?       If so, take a moment and vote in the poll in our Fish and Aquarium General section. Would you choose a store that didn't stock dyed/tattooed/unlabeled fish?       If so, take a moment and vote in the poll in our Fish and Aquarium General section.                     Would you choose a store that didn't stock dyed/tattooed/unlabeled fish?       If so, take a moment and vote in the poll in our Fish and Aquarium General section.

like i said im in no rush... if i really would have wanted females, i would have gone and picked up a batch of juvies months ago... to be honest there is already so much stuff breeding in my community tanks as is, its hard adding more breeding groups with unknown repercussions. at this time, im just letting things be until i can get fancy looking racks and fully aquascaped breeding tanks set up (in my living room - my roomate is so on board with all this as long as she doesn't have to care for any of it)

My old bachelor is out of the barnacle and there are a few little ones, batch may be small as this would be the females first.

Congrats, Pam... now you're swimming in BN fry. Glad to hear it. I don't think you have any worries about this batch being small. If she likes him and he's done a good job of hatching this batch, I'm sure you'll find her in his barnacle again.

The first batch from my new male is turning out to have some long finned after all. They are growing like weeds. Last night I gave them some mussels they weekly meaty treat and this morning when doing a small water change on that tank, you can barely see the food as they are all over it.

They probably react to the mussels much like most of us humans react to chocolate. Glad to hear they're growing like weeds.

I have lots currently, but it will be awhile before they are ready to go. When they are ready I will be asking $4 each for short finned and $6 each for long finned. Keep an eye on the auction as I will post there when they are ready.
