CAS meeting February 8th

Next Calgary Aquarium Society meeting is February 8th and our speaker will be Rick Wilsack, an excellent local rainbow breeder. As per usual, we will have reports, mini auction, refreshments and social time as well as more details about our upcoming speakers weekend, jar show and auction April 2 and 3. Hope to see you there!!

I had the pleasure of seeing Ricks fish room a couple months back, and I have to tell you - it frightened me!

1: He had carpet in his fish room. That alone gave me the shivers. I am typically good for 1 -4 liters of water hitting the floor on every water change day.
2: He has a holding tank for his system bigger than my biggest tank.
3: his tanks were scarey clean. and such beautiful rainbows! His show tanks were amazing. An interesting fellow and his wife was very pleasant as well.

I would happily listen to a discussion just on his fish room set up! Looking forward to this talk.

How was the meeting?

I plan on ordering some of Rick's rainbows - I've heard a lot of good things and his pics of his rainbows are fantastic!

This particular meeting was over a year ago, and was excellent.

Rick is still breeding and selling rainbows so you should definetely consider them. They are quite nice!
