Livebearers, the Journal of the American Livebearer Association, is in need of some decent pictures of Skiffia lermae to accompany an upcoming article about them. Immortalize your fish and yourself through publication in this respected journal!

Yes, I'm in marketing, what's your point?

If you'd like to submit photos, please send them to melodym{at}allnaturalpetcare.com, along with how you want the photo credited (name, website, etc.)

Thanks muchly!

I forgot to mention that if you're not a member of the ALA, I can send you one of my author's copies of the issue your photo appears in. Thanks again!

Thanks to those who contacted me about these pic's. The issue should be in bed by tonight so I can only accept submissions for a few more hours to make this issue. They will accompany an article by author/columnist Dr. Ted Coletti.

We're always looking for great shots of Livebearers, especially rare ones, so please feel free to send them anytime. Articles are welcome too, member or non-member.

I just saw this now, I was watching for e-mails. It's a great shot, maybe we'll get a chance to use it in a future issue. Thanks!

Hope this doesn't sound rude or anything, as it isn't intended as such.

I am indifferent to whether you use the shot or not Melody. I only provided it as I had made a partial commitment to you to provide one, and I made your deadline, if not sent the way you prefer, so I feel I met my commitment! haha!
I've been published many times, so it doesn't excite me much to be so, and probably is a lot more fun for others who haven't.

My apologies for not providing it to you in the way that you requested though, as i too think it is an amazing shot. The only thing that bothered me about the picture is the poopy hanging off of him. This species seems to poop a lot! I was actually chasing him around and knocked most of it off of him, but he pooped out a bit more before I could take the pic!

With all that said though, I'd like to give this photo to Jay for his species gallery instead. Seeing as you hadn't used it, I consider you to have given up claim to it! You could probably still use it, just with the CAC watermark on it.

Jay: please just do the same as you did with the Jenynsia Onca photos, if you would like it for your species gallery, asssuming Melody is ok with it! :notworthy:
