Fish Dreams

I dream about the fish a lot, some stranger than others. I've had one several times with fish that floated through the air. I've also had dreams of finding fish somewhere and catching them for my tanks. Otherwise I've dreamed about broken tanks.

Anybody else dream of fishies? {No 'wet dream' jokes....ROFL}

i've had a few - not too many. Nothing out of the ordinary, usually just me and a friend looking for fish at fish stores and finding crazy fish that don't exist, i've never dreamt of a cracking tank but my mom has those all the time - it's her biggest fear, especially with the 96g ...OH WAIT!!!!
Awhile ago i dreamt that i went to a ranch and it happened to have a large room with lots of aquariums with differnent fish and some with reptiles in terrariums etc.
SO then i came across an aquarium that was filled a quarter of the way up and it had quite a bit of mud substrate...so i'm looking in and there were tiny horses!
Not sea horses but regualar itty bitty horses. The ranch guy said it was a new breed that had to have it's legs in water most of the time and that the mud was easy on it's joints. I absolutely fell in love and had to have one...i don't remember if i got it or not but the ranch was completely surrounded by water and rivers with bridges and such and you had to be careful about not going to close to the edge cause it was filled with the most colourful gorgeous Pirahna type fish - they bite and you could lose a body part. They sure were pretty though.

I don't usually dream (or at least don't often remember them. Last night I had the 'leaky tank' dream. In it, I was setting up a huge tank in my apartment (maybe 120g) and was filling it. When it was almost full I noticed a lot of water on the floor at the base of the stand. Couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I kept mopping it up all the while trying to figure out where the tank was leaking and wondering if it was about to rupture. I quickly drained the tank (it took forever), moved the stand and found out I had placed the stand a connector to the hot water radiator (not possible... but anything is in dreams) and it had ruptured, so that's where all the water was coming from. :rolleyes: I have no idea what I did about it as I woke up at that point...lol.

Now Let's analyze these dreams...
leaky tanks - you're worried, possibly of the unknown.

I had a dream that an enormous mantis shrimp had dug to the bottom of the sand bed in my SW tank and was about to crack the glass. I woke up panting from 'running' to stop him. Talk about a nightmare...

You aren't the only crazy one Mel, I have had more than one dream that I was catching my fish out of the air because for some reason they just wouldn't stay in their tanks :twitcy:!

I also dreamed once that I looked into my dark tank and saw a bunch of babies in it, turned on the light and discovered that my L. Vittata had given birth overnight. I woke up the next morning and I kid you not, looked into my dark tank, saw a bunch of babies and discovered my L. Vittata had given birth overnight! Talk about creepy :wideeyed:.

I had a dream where my mom was doin a waterchange and all my fish got siphoned and riped apart.But that was after the pink elephant car drove me home.

I use to have a reoccuring fish dream, that I would go into the basement of my families house and the walls would be covered with FW and SW atanks, and terraniums where all my old turtles, newts and frogs were somehow living all along. There would be fish everywhere and it would be the most awsome place. it was always as if I had forgotten they were down stairs... I had this dream more than 10x for sure, but since I started to actually fill my basement with tanks, those dreams have disappeared.

Another dream haha, and this one includes Pat, which is kinda wierd, was that the FBI came to my house looking for something! and they coudln't find what they were looking for. They were about to leave my house when Pat walked in with a bucket and my exotic rare fish, and then I got caught! lol...
