View Full Version : Easy, fast growing plants

I'm looking for some easy, fast growing plants. Lighting isn't an issue. I don't want anything exotic/expensive, just looking to provide a better environment and more hiding places. Off the top of my head, Cabomba, Watersprite, Hygro & anything 'grassy' - I like grassy plants for some reason.
I don't fertilize or provide any special care, so keep that in mind. Otherwise I'm open to suggestions. If you want to just put together a bag of 'trimmings', that's fine too.
The catch is I need delivery or shipping.
Purchase or trade for snails!
Thanks!

I have java moss, hygro polysperma and water sprite if you are interested. They all grow like crazy in my tanks. The water sprite keeps getting eaten by my snails (red ramshorns), so I am not sure how it will fare in your tank(s), but the hygro and java moss is left alone.
PM if you wanna talk further...

Watersprite tempts the best of 'em it seems, including fish, and its thin so they can usually damage it enough to then munch further. It must be very tastey. If Swordtails can rip apart Dandelion leaves you can imagine what they can do to something that tastes better and is thinner....lol....bratts!
Off to PM!
