Although I'm not into marine aquariums, I am into conservation so I'm familiar with issues regarding coral conservation.
Most marine hobbyists are aware of the issues surrounding our natural coral reefs. Thanks to this awareness, more people are being informed of the extent to which our coral reefs are threatened. They spread their knowledge, educating both new marine hobbyists and those who aren't even in the hobby.
The 'aware' marine hobbyist selects aquacultured corals for their aquarium. A 'Frag' is a fragment of coral which has broken off from the parent coral. These are often traded amongst hobbyists as they will eventually grow into a full size coral.
Frag swapping is a popular and fun way to conserve and collect. Please utilize our 'Swap' section for this purpose and your reach will extend Canada-wide!

Feel free to add your own thoughts and resources. Some 'fragging' instructions would be good - I know nothing about that sort of thing. Maybe some shipping tips to facilitate trades?
Thanks for caring!
