The Jen behind this group, is she the same person who gave a presentation about this time last year about her trip to South America at a VAHS meeting? I talked to her for a bit after that. She an interesting person to talk to.

I just wish there was a group further out towards the valley.

Hi rescuePenguin,

I only just found this thread after some random searching.

Yes, I am the same Jen behind the South America talk I did for VAHS and have also done for GSAS (Greater Seattle Aquarium Society). I also did talks on my work in Lake Tanganyika for both groups.

We're enjoying setting up WCAS and hoping to get lots of folks involved, so if you are interested we hope you'll make it to one of our meetings! Our next one is actually tomorrow, July 11, at 7:30 p.m. at UBC. You can see our website for more details on the talk and how to get there. We also have a subforum on BC Aquaria.
