My featherworm

I've been meaning to post about this for a while, but didn't get around to loading my pictures till today.

Several weeks ago, I tried to move my feather worm to a different location. Someone once told me that its' always best to put a featherworm in a rock, rather than in the sand, b/c the worm will attach itself to the glass under the sand, and removal would be difficult. I should have listened! I tried to remove my feather worm and accidently pulled it's tube off! Here are the pics...

Believe it or not, I went on vacation after that, and when I came back a week later, the worm was still wiggling around for another 4 days. After 4 days, it dropped it's crown and was moving around still, until the sexy shrimp started to pick on it.

I feel super bad for pulling it's tube off, but I thought it looked kinda neat when it was "naked" and thought i'd show you guys.
