It is my nature to be curious about fish topics I know little or nothing about, so I'll often go digging for answers when someone asks a question, even if I don't know them off the top of my head.
Its difficult to judge whether the information is good or bad in some of the cases though, having little to base it on. Its great to see that our growing membership includes such a diverse set of skills and knowledge. Its nice to sit on my fingers and read the replies of others regarding marine, shrimp, bettas, etc.
I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge with our community, and encourage you to keep it up. Its part of our responsibility as hobbyists to educate, in my opinion, and you're doing a fine job of it!
I also want to encourage those new to the hobby or part of the hobby, to ask questions. The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked, as some wise person said. We love questions, beginner or advanced, because it gives us a reason to talk about the hobby. Please never hesitate - chances are someone else will be wondering the same thing now or later. In asking, you are providing a service to the community, not draining it. Rest assured that scathing, demeaning replies will not be tolerated here. We all started at the same level, after all.
We appreciate your membership very much. Thanks for visiting CAC!
