Hello everyone,
I posted on here a while back. I just moved into my new apartment and finally have the tank running up. It's been running for 10 days now. So on Sunday I will hopefully put my guppies in. Right now I just have a filter. One of my friends who has a fish tank gave me one of his old heaters and a fish net. I think all I have left to get is a air bubbler, food, a siphon, buckets, and fish conditioner. (And of course the fish.... )

Cute little tank. Your guppies would love it. How are you cycling the tank? Did your friend give you some filter media to put in your filter to get things started? or are you doing the fishless cycle with ammonia?

very nice! I have that same castle put away somewhere. Be careful cleaning it. The paint chips off pretty easily!

CACAdmin: Thanks! I'm doing the fishless cycle (not with ammonia though.....I had bought a cycling product that I am using.) Though I'm researching to see if there is a hardy fish I can add first that gets along with guppies.
Kimr: Haha...yes, it's an old fish decoration of mine.
mollybawn: Thanks! I will keep that in mind when I clean the castle. My boyfriend picked it out. He is convinced you can't have a aquarium unless you have either a castle or ship. He insisted that it had to allow the fish to swim inside too. Haha....maybe he will let me get another tank in the future.
I plan to add more to it later on and decorate it more but this is all my budget allows for now. I might upgrade after Christmas to a bigger tank.
