I'm having issues trying to figure out how to upload pics and vids from the phone to computer. The phone package came with a USB cord and I had to send out for a memory card which we got for free because it was a limited time promotion thing. (It came in the form of 2 cards, a microSD and a TransFlash to SD Adapter) I put the micro in the phone but have no idea what the other is for and unfortunately there was no literature sent which explained it either......
Anyways, the ppl at Wireless Wave assured us that all we needed to do the uploads was the USB cable and a memory card so I put the memory card into the phone, plug one end of USB cable into the phone and the other end into my computer. I'm thinking wow now this is easy.....I thought WAY too soon on that one:confused:
I did get something happening though, my computer recognized the new hardware and I was able to open up a window with some files but there is absolutely no option anywhere to upload anything....
:err: help!....... please:Embarassing:

Woohoo!!!! I've figured it out! Only took me a few hours LOL.
Just as I was starting to lose all hope I made one last attempt at trying to figure this bugger out and it turns out that stuff doesn't just magically end up on the memory card, you have to put it there...you'd think they'd put this somewhere in the manual lol.
Anyways, thanks for reading, I don't need assistance any more...at least for the time being anyways LOL.

Heh....there is always something waiting in the wings to screw me up lol.
I was able to get pics off my phone no problem, the videos however apparently download in a 3GP format from the phone and aren't recognizable by the computer so they have to be converted into some sort of video format like wma or whatever those are. So off I go to google this issue thinking that it will present an easy solution.......:nah: today is not the day for easy I guess.
I have to buy a program which will convert the vids or I'm destined to never view them on my monitor, now why don't they ever tell you this when you go in to buy the phone and they start telling you about all the neat things it does and how it's so great to be able to use it with your computer...Bleh! technology is starting to really wear thin on my nerves these days!
On the bright side, you know how some cell phones take a great pic that looks horrible once you get it on the computer? Well this cell phone I've discovered actually takes pretty darn good pics:yes:
Here's one of my kitty:

Have you checked the Motorola site for downloads? They might supply something or other free. It doesn't give you an option to save in another format when it asks you to 'save as...'? I know very little about today's cell phones - just throwing ideas out there.
If not, try ZdNet free downloads for a converter, or Tucows, or any of the other free download sites. You could also try a web-based one, like Media Convert (http://media-convert.com/).
