I got a new catfish today I think it is a Dwarf Royal Twig Catfish

I have 4 of them so I hope I have at least one pair.
it does not show in the photos but they have about a 3" whip off the top end of the tail fin.
I will try to get a photo of it but it is very fine and my tank has some algae on the glass.

That's amazing. The whip is huge. :wideeyed: Any idea as to its purpose?

I don't know enough about them yet to answer the questions.
I will be talking with Eric, the former Xotics wholsaler (now shut down) to see what he knows.
