Oh wow, does it take them a long time to lay eggs or were you just there at the right time to catch that?

Despite having had, um, the odd snail here and there over the years, this is the first time I've witnessed egg laying. S/he didn't even slow down, just dropped the eggs as s/he cruised on by.

since I am incapable of culling for its own sake, I keep several tanks for 'pest snails'. Anytime you need ramshorns for Yurdle, by all means, bring the pick-up truck:-)
