That is worse over-crowding than you see in stores, and that's short term! White Cichlids? Methinks this person could use some educating in the art of fish-keeping. Hopefully he does some research very soon.

Any guesses on the species?

Thanks for the heads up, I'm sure someone will be able to at least rehome them in decent conditions until we can find homes for them. Let's get the word out!

OMG, I had to take a second look at those pictures.

At first glance, I thought that was some kind of plant taking over the tank ! :swoon:

I hope he manages to adopt out a lot of those fish .

Wow. You would think he would at least take some to the LFS for a store credit or something. That is the worst over-crowding I have ever seen.

i have the 55g empty waiting for the livebears to go in...i could up the wc's in the 25 for a bit in the ameca - goodeid tank and get a few of these to get them out - i just know i'll get attached and not want to re-home them.
Oh what a decision.

I don't suppose he just put them all in there for pictures? I don't like to judge anyone who isn't here to defend themselves and the fish look like they're lively & growing...

My conscience is nagging me...lol.

Regardless, at least he's finding a home for them now.

that is true but it also wouldn't surpise me having them all together like that all the time. Cichlids are really Tough.

They certainly are that, bless their little hearts. I always said if I got tired of fussing over Livebearers, I'd go to Cichlids.
