A study has shown that fish are able to adapt to higher temperatures than first thought but they don't cope all that well initially. However, the next generation is much better able to cope with the higher temperatures.

That sounds promising. Of course, this will become an excuse for many anti-environmentalists to rationalize irresponsible actions toward the planet, arguing that species will just adjust to whatever conditions humans create. Gee, am I cynical?? :skeptical:
