Way back...Chuck had a website...and Chuck created a handy utility for such things as a Nutrient Calculator, CO2 Calculator, and a combined CO2 Chart.
The website has not existed for years however with the miricle of the internet...basically NOTHING is ever really gone. His website lives archived in the public domain as shown here: http://web.archive.org/web/20060203055136/http://www.csd.net/~cgadd/aqua/art_plant_aquacalc.htm
This handy utility for windows (any windows version) is still available for download. At the bottom this page on his website it shows "Download Planted Aquarium Calculator".
