Just a note on promotion. You will be unable to promote the website on bcaquaria.com. An entire thread of member-only content, which contained a copyright notice, was copied and pasted into a BCA thread by a member after I refused to do so. In answer to our professional complaint, they censored our URL. I'm not sure how they connected the two, since the member didn't even bother to credit the content to our site, but they're not real big on justifications over there....lol.

Now me, I would have spoken to the member and perhaps posted a reminder to the general membership about copyrighted content. I would have apologized to the admin and assured them that it is not something that my website encouraged or endorsed.

But not everyone is capable of handling such matters professionally, so we'll just refrain from promoting there. Will we be banning the BCAquaria url? Of course not - we're professionals over the age of 10 :rofl: . Best laugh I've had in a long time I'll admit, but that's the only action we'll be taking.

I wanted to let you know so you wouldn't waste your time changing your sig URL there. There are countless professionally run forums out there who will have no problem with you promoting within their respective guidelines.

A friendly reminder - Please read each forum's guidelines thoroughly and frequently before posting our ad in their forum. Some change the rules depending on their mood or the weather or a full moon.... whatever, so its best to check on a regular basis.

Whatever the 'reasoning' behind it and no matter how much it changes on a whim, we are professional and mature individuals and we will respect each forum's rules, fickle or otherwise. Thank you!

I have modified our flyer (currently at Super Pet, Richmond - thank you!). This version has a space for your to add your referral ID (member name), so you can hand them out to people and get credit for the referral. Just another tool to help you win some great prizes!
