Beautiful! :) I love the dual lighting effect. How did you achieve that?

Dual lighting? Oh, my bf stole *ahem...errrr* borrowed the t5 light strip that I had bought for his planted tank so I stuck a hood from my 10 gallon and another coralife strip and just put them on top so that I had some light. :P

Now THOSE are properly housed fishies! Excellent job Candice. Both beautiful and a fine example of how large fish should be cared for.

I agree, I like the lighting. Better yet, so do fish. They enjoy having darker spots in the tank to relax and take refuge. Far more natural overall, accidental or otherwise :-).

Thanks!

Yes, my fish do tend to be spoiled with space, etc. I've had my blood parrot girls coming on 4 years now. I started them out in a 48 gallon and now they swim in the lap of luxury in their 108. I wouldn't dream of having them in anything smaller as they *are* very big girls. Wink is about 8 inches, and Nudge is about 7 inches big. With proper care, they are larger than a lot of the blood parrots I've seen.

The world according to Wink and Nudge,
"Hey, who'd you call big...I'm not fat, I'm fluffy!" :D:D
