YIIIIPPPEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! :chatterbox: One of my own origional Lyretail fry females dropped her fry this morning!!!!!!!!  :red_dance: :pompom: The 15 gal is FULL!!!

You're not going to believe this one though, they're clear!!! not orange. Wild, be interesting to see what colours develop. The other orange female that gave birth a few days ago, her fry were bright orange. Weird... who cares... THEY'RE HERE!!!!

Ok, I truly need a life...

Congrats. What colors delelop I imagine will depend upon who 'papa' was. BTW, you DO have a life... it's just that it's all about fish. ;)

Wait a minute.... clear? Are you POSITIVE that white female wasn't a male? The other male was treating it like a male, remember?

I'm positive. He treated her bad, but from the time she entered and left the tank with him she was sick. Would he not try to keep a sick fish away???

I've been peeking in the tank. There are so many that I can't count. Silly fry aren't too bright though, some of them are hanging around at the top of the tank in the unplanted areas out in the open to be eaten. Dumb fish... and here's another grabber... they're the same size of my fry that were born like 1.5 -2 weeks ago. Weird.

LOL nope a male fish couldnt care less if the female is sick.. he may even pester it more cause iit can't run away! Males can be such beasts!

I'm pretty positive. She was full grown and didn't have any sign of a sword, had 3 very distinct pectoral fins, and showed no interest in the other females. But then again, anything is possible. That would actually be cool. Instead of breeding the colour in through a female, it would have snuck in through a male. I'd love for that to be the case, (fingers crossed). ;)

A lot of males don't get their Swords until they're big and/or in a tank without other males. If he was breeding the Gono would be developed though. You wouldn't get Albinos unless your females carry a recessive Albino gene, but I bet they'd be pretty anyway.

God, that would be so awsome!!!! But she definetly didn't have a gono:no: That would have been so cool. I don't know why, but I'm a sucker for albino's!!! Everytime I look in the tank I see something different. They're really trying to confuse me. I have e everything in there from light orange to dark orange to clear:twitcy: . I don't know what's what and who's who anymore...lol It's going to be soooo cool to see what comes of this whole batch.

I did a about a 30% water change to see if that would trigger the other one to drop. Lights are off and I've made the room out of bounds for the day. The one that has to drop is the cranky miserable one. She spends more time charging at the other female than worrying about herself.

*This is adorable, i'm sitting here next to my sons. Their playroom is joined with my computer area. They're playing the big legos TOGETHER. My oldest is going to be 6 on March 31st and my youngest will be 1 on March 31st as well. I love watching them play*
