My blue mm platy fry were born March 7 and are the same size and some of the Lyretail sword fry born yesterday.... how does that work??? (Mom's not that tiny). They're very well fed with fry food and home brewed b. b. shrimp. Could I be doing something to slow the process??

Yup - its a little known fact that a watched fish never grows.

 :WhoMe: :BOLTS:

Alright then seriously though - First, you're talking about two different species (technically), one of which gets larger. Second, I just read not too long ago, don't ask me where, that Blue Platy's grow slower. Probably the same place I read that they colour up slower, which doesn't exactly narrow it down.

 It figures , someone like me would end up with a slow growing fish:twitcy: . Ahh well. I'll amuse myself with other things. Like cursing the last female that's still holding on for dear life to her fry...
