I'd like to say that again Mykiss for the shipment of long fin cory's and pigmy's. They're very nice!! I can't wait to see them grow out their fins. I put an air stone in the 33 gal right before they arrived. They really like it. They're under the impression it's their personal roller coaster.... They jump in at the bottom, ride the stream to the top, hop out and repeat the process. It's so cute to watch. They love bloodworms. When I feed the bloodworms every one of them swims around with one hanging out of their mouth like a dog with a bone..lol
Thanks again!!:notworthy:

I think you made the whole thing up. Mr. Mykiss probably sent you boring Cory's.

Are you going to tell us about your invisible friend next? :twitcy:
Oh alright, I know Patrick had the Longfins and I'm sure they're beautiful. Might snag some females from him myself when he returns from wowing Alberta.

When you take photos of these guys, what mode do you have your digicam in?? I tried every mode and got nothing. They just move to quick.
They are really chalked full of personality. I love watching them ride the bubble stream. Sometimes they get impatient and bump each other out for a turn. It's really quite comical!!!

You have to lower the speed to catch movement, but not so low you get poor quality. My ISO is usually set at 100. I read that in one photo article (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/showthread.php?t=168) or another & it appears to work.

Beleive me I'm no photographer. It's hit or miss with me. One mistake I was making was trying to get too close. One, the fish sped off and secondly I found that I had a tendancy to move the camera slightly in response to their sudden dash. I now take pictures from further away, capturing much more than the fish I want a pic of, and then crop the pic. Also, with fish who won't stand still if you use a flash there is more light and the shutter speed will be faster... hopefully capturing them without being a blur.
Good luck!
