Or should I say invaded? I went out for a walk and had five clutches, came back from the walk to find only 4 clutches intact and little teensy white babies crawling all over the glass!!! :wideeyed: O-M-G what do I do now? lol First hatching for me...

First, it is absolutely crucial that you post here.
See? You're already a pro!
Nothing to do really - keep the water clean, keep them fed and plan for at least 50G's/clutch for grow out space.
OH! And have a beer - gotta celebrate! Congrat's!:Celebrate:

They are in a 20 gallon now and I almost wish I would have put them in a ten gallon, they are so tiny. I have my grow out tanks in the basement. :) Tommorrow is product shopping day, a friend is the wharehouse manager at a local aquarium and they are replacing all of their tanks, and guess who's gonna be lucky enough to get some of them? :) I so can't wait for tommorrow...
I'm outta beer so vodka's okay right? lol

LOL I'm sure that will be fine, but it has to be in a fancy glass.
Have fun tomorrow!

Congrats on the first batch of baby snails! With four more clutches just waiting to hatch, you'll soon have more than you know what to do with.

Thanks, I read and researched and planned for them for a few months so hopefully I'll be okay. Either that or I'll start sleeping in a circle of sea salt...:wideeyed:

You'll be just fine... that is until they're adults and start laying... the females have been known to escape to go exploring in search of the 'ideal' spot to lay their eggs. :wideeyed:

I have the lid off one tank right now in attempts to see who likes to wander. So far no takers other then my Cana who I'm convinced would be perched on the end of my tea cup right now reading as I type. She's been banished to the polytank with the spechul snail cover. (Screening bungee corded around the tank lol)

 Yes, Canas definitely have a different personality. I just got my first one about a month ago and I'm learning. My floating plastic plants (fry savers) became my submerged floating plants... one Cana perched on the top... I don't know... I wanted to ask if the view was better from up there...lol. Have fun... looking forward to pictures ( of adults and babies when big enough for photograph).
