I took out all the plastic plants and redid the tank. The asian ambulia, anubia nana, bacopa caroliniana and the crypt wendtii (tropia) are all from Waterpond and the moss is from Melody.

I also bought myself anothe 32 g Waterhome. Got it all set up and will take pics as soon as it clears. Added more crushed coral so it is a little foggy in there, even with rinsing still get some foggyness.

Thanks Jay,
The new one is actually replacing an old 10 gallon. No room for more tanks, so now I am just replacing with bigger. It will have plant eating snails, haustrams, saltons and marisas and a lf albino and a brown lace BN and 5 cories. Will have fry and baby snails in there from time to time as it will be the birthing/nursery tank.

Sounds great! Bigger tank means more room for your snails and fish... I'm sure they'll be thrilled. I too use my 'plant-eating' snail tank as multipurpose (but it's only 5g). It often becomes a q-tank. My Brig tank is my fry tank. That's what's great about snails... they can so easily accommodate other occupants (weeeeell, expect for snail-eaters...lol)

It looks great pam!

More plants ready for you when you want them. :)

Thanks guys! The snails produce infusoria which helps feed the fry which is a bonus.

Waterpond (you know I will take them as sound as I round up the stuff for the trade)

I love the plants and decorations. But if I may make a suggestion: try swapping out the SW themed background for one that is solid black or blue. That way, it won't take one's attention away from what is in the tank.

Looks great Pam! And I don't feel in the least bit bad about getting JT's plants now that I know you have those beauties from Waterpond! In fact, I'm envious, wish he was closer.

New tanks are always a lot of fun. Can't wait to see what you do with that one.

No it is okay. I was not completely happy with it and I think that is why it is too busy. I would like to try black.

I had a very hard time finding black here. Finally found it in a small store. You can usually find the blue though.

Its funny, on my smaller tanks I don't mind the busy backgrounds, but on the larger tanks I don't like them at all - you'd think it would be the opposite. :Dunno:

Mr. GP, you have a real flair for this stuff. You should do a side biz in Aquascaping. You too Waterpond!
