It's been a while. Here's an update on my 20g long.
I completely stripped it and started from scratch a little while back. It's finally starting to fill in a little bit.

Nice. The moss at the very back looks almost like weeping moss... is it? And if it isn't how did you get it to grow like that? Very cool. Long tanks are fun to landscape.

Very nice. I like the 'grassy' look at the front but I'm totally clueless when it comes to plants. What are those? Do they stay small?

You are so talented with tanks Candice - it looks much bigger than my 20G long, for starters, and I love the design. What creatures are you keeping in it?
Great to v-see you!
Osprey, Candice has more mosses than anyone I know! She does very well with them and any I've purchased from her have been lush & green. Of course, I promptly kill them whereas hers flourish  .

Thank you for your comments.
Yes, the grass in the front left stays short. It's dwarf hair grass. (don't ask me for the scientific names) The grass on the right is brazilian microsword. I'm hoping it does ok. It needs a lot of light to grow properly.
Inhabitants of the tank are a few ottocats, a handful of japonica shrimp and some Endlers livebearers. Also are tons of mts (malaysian trumpet snails), some ramshorns and a few neritina snails.
oh and I only have 2 types of moss now. It was getting hard to keep them all apart/separate so I picked my favourites..taiwan and weeping. :)

Very nicely done!! I have a taste for the natural look. Is it hard to maintain the plants that require CO2?

I just got some weeping moss off ebay and it's sitting in a breeding box waiting to be attached! I hope it turns out as nice as yours :)

Very nice. How long did it take to plant all that hair grass?

It didn't take too long. I started with a little patch of it, divided it up into about 7 little tiny areas and stuck them in with the long tweezers. It's filled in by itself. :)
I hope your weeping moss turns out nicely too. :)

Beautiful!
I lost most of my moss and hairgrass when hair algae got into it  kudos for keeping yours clean.
What's the light green frillly leaved plant?

If you're talking about the ones that look kind of like little palm trees, those are called downoi.
If you're talking about the one in the back left that's a windelov java.
Cheers!
