Yes those clubs are a great place to pick that stuff up. Otherwise it depends on the store but I think its coming down lately - maybe because so many people carry it?
C'mon Mr. SB, we'll go for a walk on the beach & get some free stuff!
As for the topic of this thread - I'm getting more than a little tired of y'all giving me tank envy and having nobody to blame for it but myself  . Stunning job!

Stunning job!
I'll second that! Waterpond, you obviously have a flair for aquacaping... your tanks amaze me.
Me? I just put lots and lots of plants in the tank - some live, some die and somehow the 'jungle' stays green (for the mostpart... just don't look closely:laugh: )

Thanks guys!
As for the driftwood, i get mine at superpet. For a fairly large peice (like the ones seen in my tank) it is $7.88. Then i buy some Java fern ($5.88) and use dental elastics(free) to attach it to the driftwood.

Last time I looked at it was in KE's and it was overpriced in my opinion. $5 for the smallest piece ranging up to $15 for a workboot size chunk. If prices are coming down thats great because I bet the markups are (were) outrageous.

Maybe if we start a 'cheapest place for driftwood' thread, we'll find the best places to get it in each Province eventually. ::D: I don't think I've ever bought a piece of it you know - I usually pick it up in Whiterock. I don't need large pieces so its no prob to find what I need there.
