I was feeding the fish last night and was peering into the tank that helf the corydoras oiapoquensis.. and low and behold there were eggs in the massive clump of javamoss. I hadn't done anything to trigger them, but they spawned anyways. The moss clump pretty much takes up half the tank and the eggs were burried deep in it. I collected 21 eggs, and I am sure I missed at least a dozen as I couldn't get to the back side of the clump, and there were probably more burried deep inside it. I actually am kind of hoping I did miss some, so I can compare growth rates of the ones in with the parents and the ones I am trying to hatch out.
As of last night, 20 of the 21 eggs look fertile, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will hatch out for me...
btw.. here is a pic I took of one of them a while back so you don't have to google this one..
