Ahh, spring. Gardening, and ponding. Two of my favorite things. My pond is all set up, and my garden is coming back nicely after a harsh winter. The fish are in the pond.

Don’t you just love this time of year. All I need now are pond plants, and a few more plants for my garden.

My Shade Garden :on one side of the pond…
I put in a nice hosta planter this year. I also got some bleeding hear. I plan to try some ferns too.

My sun garden:
The tree you see is a curly willow which will eventually turn this side into a shade garden too. I have mostly wildflowers like coneflower and black eyes susan. I also have tond of columbine some sedum.

Beautiful pond and garden! You'll enjoy those shady areas in the heat of the summer, I'm sure. The Pond looks great! Did you build it yourself? Also how many fish do you are in there?

ROFL! My parents helped me dig the pond and collect rocks to put around it. They bought me the pond and the pump for my birthday a few years back. My dad had to tear up our yard so he could rin power the the pond. My mom helped me collect rocks.

Uhmmm, thats about it. Other than that its all me.

THe pond was put in by us. It is just a pre-formed pond.

Nice plantings!
That barrel looks like it could have held water, but we'll let it go this time :)
