View Full Version : Cory's rubbing... does that mean anything?

Two of my albino cory's have been chumming around together away from the "pack" for quite some time. The short fat one has been swimming over the longer thinner one's head, rubbing it's (her?) belly on the other's head when they swim, and they're kind of coming up off the gravel to do a little spin dance together. Does that mean they may be showing a spawn interest in each other?? I haven't seen any other's in any of my tanks behave this way. Thanks ahead of time!

It sounds like they may be courting. :) Good luck!

Cool, how long does the "courting " process usually last? As this has gone on for a month or more. I thought the shorter fat one was a little small to be ready, that's why I'm asking. Thanks again!!

yes, that is what they call the "T-position" in cory spawning.. and it will go on as long as it takes for them both to be in the mood
