Recently I was at my LFS and one of the managers said they were getting in a shipment of pineapple snails next week and how many should he hold for me..(he knows me well  ). All I know about them is they are from Singapore, have a spikey shell and are freshwater snails. I tried googling but no dice.
Anyone have any idea?

The only ones I've seen lately with a spikey shell are the Nerites and the Thorny snails. There's a pic of the Thorny snails in the plant eater/not plant eater thread, invert section.

Hookay turns out the LFS manager goofed and they are actually porcupine snails...From what I've found so far they are nerites. I'll have to take a look later on about more info. Am in mid water change h-e-double two sticks.
