Spixi Babies!

Wheeeeeeee I have em! This morning I counted about 55 lil spixi babies 2 are much larger then the rest of them. They look like giants in comparison! Can't seem to get the camera's to focus on the wee one's yet but I can already see their stripes and lil antenna.

What I also noticed I had this morning was 10 more spixi clutches! :wideeyed: Soon I shall be sleeping in a circle of salt me thinks.:laugh:

In a few weeks or course I'm sure I'll be loosing my mind but today I am happy to see all these cute little aliens crawling about. Which of course is all Melody's fault. :yes:

Hmmm I just thought of something...Since I counted 55 that means I have about 265 doesn't it? :chatterbox:

Woo hoo, Kathleen! I have yet to get spixi snailets, they must look adorable sporting their little striped shells. And tiny to get a good pic of, which would be neat to get. Keep trying (aren't digital cameras the best for taking tons of shots?):laugh:

They sure are but I think mine needs an upgrade...I bought it in Bosnia two years ago when it wasn't even out yet in the States and now of course its obsolete. It would seem the minute you buy a computer, camera, video etc. They come out with something a million times better....Why is that? :confused:

I promise to work on photo's of the spixi babies if you'll promise to work on the koi fry pics. Deal? :laugh:

And it is way harder to take pictures of little black fry compared to a big orange fish. I'll keep trying though, same for you.

Congrats on the wee spixis! You'll soon have more than you'll know what to do with :laugh: ... it's ok, just give over the entire house to them. How? Get rid of the furniture and fill the void with more tanks.:;):

I've already moved out a couch to accomodate my 2 big tanks in the living room. I keep telling the boyfriend to seal the basement windows so I can fill it with a hose. He's so unaccomodating! Gah! :laugh: Okay really for a person who doesn't really like the hobby much he's amazingly accomodating.

I'm hoping to trade some of my spixi babies for some plants. Any plants really as long as they don't come with parasites or pest snails. :)

I just got 4 more tanks...I think I'd be shot on site with a new tank in hand . :o
