Sponsors will have their name in lights on a banner revolving with the club banners at the top of every page on the website, for 6 months! They will also be listed here along with their website URL if applicable. If you would like to sponsor this contest, please contact me with questions or instructions. Both merchants and individuals are welcome and appreciated.

So, how long would this contest go for? 6 months or more? I'll need a bit of time to get the winning # of members ;-)

ROFL We're still working out the details, but we're looking at six months to give the new members a chance to get in on the action as well, even though its hopeless with Mr. Mykiss competing :laugh: . Good thing there's more than one prize hmm? ;)

Our sponsor list should include some shippers eventually, since we offer a Canada-wide audience, but we'll also ship prizes otherwise.

Maybe we'll have some gift certificates. We're also looking at Plant kits, fishy food baskets of the top brands, equipment, etc etc etc. We don't expect you to work for six months for nothing, after all ;-).

The bonus is the more members we have, the more fun we'll have. We're also targeting a more advanced crowd on the side, offering them a professional atmosphere for the discussion of advanced topics. No community would be complete without newbies of course - they give us a good excuse to yak about this hobby of ours. :D

When it starts depends on how long it takes to get the prizes together, but it will definitly be by the new year, preferrably ASAP.

I can be quoted across the net for years saying that this is my fave fish-keeping magazine. They cover all their bases, including content that is so well written that even if I don't happen to be keeping the fish its still an interesting read. They're always on top of the latest news in species ID's, new strains, issues, etc. I have a couple of friends who have been published in TFH several times over and they find them to be excellent to deal with on that level as well.
