A restaurant owner lead authorities on a car chase with a load of broken and battered Crayfish. They had raided the restaurant due to the putrid conditions the Crayfish were kept in, and the owner tried to escape with the evidence.
Inspectors chased him through Parnell, on foot and in cars, until he had to stop at an intersection. The crayfish were strewn through the back of the station wagon, with broken legs and feelers. Two were dead when they arrived at Kelly Tarlton's and four more died that night. ~ New Zealand Herald (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/1/story.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10446190)

If Hollywood is reading the forum and picking up on the recent buzz surrounding aquatic organism abuse, we should soon expect this story to be developed into a screenplay. Closely based on the Star Wars script, it will probably be a three picture deal with the crayfish struggling for justice, finding themselves, falling in love and beating the odds to find success and fresh vegetable matter against all odds.
Over twenty movies will lay claim to the title of 'sequel' at theaters this summer, the most ever in any four month period. And eight of the sequels are the end of planned trilogiesThis doesn't include the other twenty sequels, trilogies and fourth installments in the rest of the year... Sorry, I needed to rant :(

Get over here - we need to share that booze & drown our sorrows in good company. We'll come up with a fix for the world that will be brilliant. Of course, we'll forget what the answer was.
Maybe we'll write it down like that guy who wrote a book about pot smoking back in the 60's. (In which he claimed that he didn't actually smoke it, but his friend, Ernie, did:rolleyes: ).
He said every time he smoked he found a solution to all of the problems in the world, but could never remember what it was the next day. Finally one night he had the good sense to write it down. The next morning he remembered that he'd wrote it down. He flew out of bed with excitement and anticipation to read what profound wisdom he'd written. He grabbed the piece of paper and read...
"There's a funny smell in the room."

But on a more serious note....
YouTube video shows man torturing Spotted Eagle Ray to death. (http://www.wpbf.com/news/13533415/detail.html)
Everyone needs something to make them feel like a man I guess. Too bad all he proved is what a pathetic wimp he is.
{The video is not shown at the link provided, its just a news story}

I find it intriguing that a website that doesn't allow "adult" content allows this.
Is watching animals being tortured somehow better or more desirable ? To my thinking, this falls in along the lines of "adult" content.

I agree. Its beyond adult content actually. Your average adult content is perfectly fine for the average adult who chooses to view it, but getting off on torturing a helpless creature is in the sick zone, as far as I'm concerned. I'm glad people are yelling about it - the only reason there's no adult content is because people would yell, after all, so maybe they'll get the mesage that how much publicity and hits they get isn't going to justify it. They love it when the press covers their videos and they love it when people get outraged and post it in forums - its all free advertising. Marketing at its lowest.

They found the guy who filmed the Ray torture...
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Capt. Jeff Ardelean said his office couldn`t release the man`s name until is it decided what charges -- if any -- but also said the person who posted the video has received death threats, the Palm Beach Post reported Friday.
