I bought some from them a couple years ago when I had a 20G SW tank. It was $5/lbs which was cheap for a store. It was nothing special though, just your basic Fiji rock. It required 2 weeks to cycle the tank as the rock was not fully cured. Your best bet is to look for someone tearing down a tank and buy their live rock.

Yeah I was going to but the guy who was taring down his tank had a aptasia farm going so I was not interested. I already bought some rock from JL and it was 3.49LB on special or some thing,40 LB's was 200$ shipped

Are you adding this rock to an existing tank or starting a new one?
If your adding to an existing tank then you really want to get cured rock as adding it wont effect your cycle too much. Still watch your #'s tho.
If your just starting a new tank it really doesnt matter if its cured or fresh rock as you will have to go thru the cycle anyways.
I have never brought rock from J and L, but I order gobs of stuff from them online and have always gotten what I ordered and their customer service has always been excellent.
Do some research on the different types of live rock available. You want light porous rock with interesting shapes. Marshall Island and Tonga are good for that. Figi is cheaper.. but its heavy and usually more like boulders. Light rock also fills more space for the $$ even tho the price per lb may be more.. a 5lb rock of Marshall Island is almost twice as big as a 5lb Figi rock, but may only cost 25% more.

This is a addition to my my already going tank, I have researched this is my only hobby so I take it pretty seriously I will be curing the rock in another tank for 2 month's before adding it to my system, it is fiji rock the pieces are very large and porous.

I also like the guys at ocean aquatics also very friendly and helpful
http://oceanaquatics.com/ Thier LR usually lots more coralline than J&L how ever there's more pest anemone like majanos on thier LR shipments
I would checkout Hidden Reef, as shelley said they are having free shipping promotion, so that will save you more money.
