I think that or the devious spixis are trying to disguise them which wouldn't surprise me in the very least.

I have individual eggs deposited all over the front of the glass in one of my tanks. Meanwhile I bought a 15 gallon tank yesterday to put them in with the hopes they'd spawn in it...Ohhh well!

So uhhh how do I move em? Same as spixi eggs with a plastic card thingy? Fiter? No filter?

Gah! Just as I am about to have houseguests for a week everyone is chasing one another, laying/hiding eggs etc. etc. ...I found 15 clutches this morning as well!!!! Time to start dividing the sexes lol.

Everyone of course in interested in spawning BUT my goldfish...Gah!

I used to use a card, and found that I broke too many. I actually roll them off with my fingers now and haven't broken one since. Good luck and congrats!

I also roll them off with my finger.. they are often kind of sticky and actually stick to your fingers as you roll them.

Hmmm I'm not sure whats worse sticky or slimey...:err: I'll get back to you on that one. Thanks guys...I'm still not sure if they are fertile or not they are clear with a white dot in the center. Kinda like individual spixi eggs.

If they have a white dot, I believe they're infertile. They should start to turn brown within a day or so.

I've found that once all of my cory's started to spawn. They would repeat the process every time I change the water. Don't be down... that was just the first practise run... you'll have more cory's than you know what to do with in no time.

I'm wondering if they are too young and laying duds...There were only about 15-20 eggs on the glass or if they ate em all before I found em. Thanks for the encoragement, I've tried doing regular water changes which seem to make them happy but other then that the goofy characters are just glass dancing at the moment.

like jordonsmom said, once they start.. it is usually hard to get them to stop spawning. I have learned through my experience with breeding corys that the first couple spawns usually don't have the greatest fertility, but it gets better with each spawn
