They look right at home. Wait until you see the Lyres these things develop - they are bred for 'spreaders' that make the lyre widely spaced and perfectly held - no droopies...lol.

Those gold dusts look really nifty. I remember a plan I had once about lighting a tank with a point source, so you'd get defined shadows and rays of light and stuff. I think you have there the perfect fish for that setup, can you imagine it swimming from the darkness into a shaft of light....*Homer drooling noise*

Hmmm! Interesting way of lighting the tank... definite possibilites. The flash definitely picked up the coloring of the mollies. Shall give it some thought. (However, I think my platies might ruin the effect... they'd probably just swarm to the light source :twitcy: difussing it.)

Updatedpictures (taken today). I managed to get pics of the Green Lyre Sailfin Molly Pair and the Plumetail Platy Pair but the Black GoldDust female molly was uncooperative Every time I aimed the lens in her direction she swam straight towards me... only head-on shots or blurry ones of her dashing away. (As for her mate... sadly, I lost him.)
Molly Pair and if you look closely you'll see one of my white tipped BN plecos got in the shot... as did several snails):

No credit to me... it's genetics... they're beautiful fish... and I'm just lucky that you brought these beautiful fish in. I would most definitely like to get another pair of Black GoldDust Mollies if they are available next time you place an order.
I will post a picture of the female when she cooperates for the camera. It's amazing how much more gold she has on her now that she is maturing... it really glitters in the light.:D

Thanks! She's getting big but not due yet...last batch of fry was born a couple of days just after the New Year. I only got a few fry out of the last batch... hopefully more this time... she also didn't get very big last time.
