Can I put a pair of plecos in with fry?

I'd like to try and see if my BN plecos will spawn. Can they go in a tank with platy and swordtail fry? Fry are at least 1/4" or bigger in a 30 gallon tank.

I really don't know but I would imagine they'd be fine. However, I'm just guessing. I have 3 BN plecos and 1 clown pleco in my 70g in which many, many fry are born and often remain (can only catch so many to put in a grow out tank.)
