Hi All
Just wondering in your opinion, if there's any money in fragging(after intial setup costs etc)? I'm a stay at home mom, and looking to make a few extra bucks..
thanks

IMO.... No not unless you can wholesale them out to someone thats going to buy them in bulk. I have cut alot of frags since I started saltwater. Most have been to populate my ever increasing new tank habit:yes: I have an add runnning right now on a local board I belong to..and have sold 4 or so frags a week @ 30-40 bucks each. All this $ does is allow me to buy new things. If you have an established tank and some nice corals you can make some extra spending money, but I would highly doubt, unless you are going to go HUGE and offer shipping ect, you could quit your day job.

Give it a shot. I think if you have good looking frags, good selection and steady buyers you can make a bit of $$. But you also have to think on how you are going to sell them. Do you really want people coming over to your house to look at what you have?
Good luck.

Its a possible market, just browse around, and find out how much frags cost elseware. Also, if ya dont want people coming over to your place, maybe get a website made, can find reasonable priced places to make them, or set up a forum with all the photos, and give out the link to possible customers :) oh, and in my experience, if you can get some frags that are not readily available elseware in your town/city, they will sell a lot better.
