Thursday morning...1:30 am:

I head over to pick up my fish in town ! Thanks to a Awesome fish store in Halifax NS that does not usually take online orders... who was kind enough to correspond with me via email, and a member form a local forum from Halifax as well, and a truck driver I know, I was able to get a nice order for my SW tank !! (Since I am unable to get to halifax ever... 3 hours away !) So if it was not for these guys doing me all a big favour and helping my out so much this would not have been possible !! Thanks Guys !!

So...

I have to say the fish store, Aqua Creations, did a great packing job ! Everything arrived alive and well and looking awesome ! Now to just get them in my tank safe and sound ! LOL!

Heres a few pics I snapped :

And inverts in bucket:

So... all together I got one firefish, one lawnmower blenny, 2 fighting conches, 2 astrea snails, 2 cat eye snails, and one peppermint shrimp ! Since all I have in my 18g tank was 2 clowns and a green clown goby, this order was a major addition to my tank !!

4:00 am:

Still awake..... *yawn* And acclimating my fish slowly !! :)

5:30 am.... finally got all of them into the tank, and got a few hours sleep on the couch, woke up now and then to peak at the tank :)

Now... I have been watching everything closely...the firefish is staying hidden under the LR... I assume this is normal until he adjusts ?

Just now I finally saw the lawnmower blenny... he was watching me ! And I did not even know it as he blends in so well with the rocks !

The peppermint shrimp I think is carrying eggs.. a green mass under its tail? (They wont survive will they?) And she is hiding under some LR just rocking back and forth, whats with that?

The cats eyes snails are cruising through my colony of yellow polyps, eating algae from inbetween them.. I hope?

The astrea snails, I am not to sure how they are... one seemed to be cleaning a rock, and the other crawled out of the water and sat there all night until I pushed him back into the tank. And the conches seemed fine, until just now I see one also at the surface with his body stuck out of the water... whats with this? Normal..??

Anywho... I am so hoping everybody settles in well ! I am so excited to finally have some new additions to my tank !!

nice addition. peppermint shrimps are nuctornal they hide most of the day. they might nip zoas or small polyps so watch out. Mine gut sucked into my skimmer pump.

the conch they completely burrow most of the day and when the lights goes off they come out and starts grazing for algea make sure sure you didnt not get a whelk they are a predatory snail. I always check out my tank at night with a flashlight when the lights go off, lots of interesting creatures you can see wandering about.

Thanks for the info !

So they will even bury themselves in crushed coral, as that is what I have for substrate...

And, I always keep a flashlight next to my tank....LOL !... I love seeing the differnt colors of the corals at night, and all the critters !
