YATR Yet Another Tank Rack

This was going to be 'Fishroom phase 3' but with several changes in plans, I guess I'll just go with 'Yet Another Tank Rack'.

There is still alot of work to do, leveling, insulation, plumbing, supports, etc.

But here is a sneak peek.

These are 40 gallon tanks, they will be set up on a common sump when all is done.

I'm going to insulate these tanks as well to see if there will be any significant heat savings. I've read that it can make a big difference, if it does, I may insulate the other racks as well.

With the heat of summer, progress is slowwwwwww. Even the basement is warm, I haven't seen a heater on in days. Tanks are staying at about 80 degrees.

If I can get a little work done in the evenings, I should have this rack up and running fairly soon.

No Melody, I don't need any more fish for these tanks, these tanks are already spoken for !

As far as insulating goes, what are you planning to use to insulate the tanks?

And like the others said, you can't build a new rack with new tanks without adding new fish! It's wrong, very wrong!!

Well now that's the problem, my last fish order ballooned from a few to huge box full. :rolleyes:
