Don't really know where to put this new thread, so I'll try here!
As I'm in Quebec, most good fish magazines don't make it up here, if any at all!
What would be the best magazine to get?
I have had some in the past (8-10 years ago), but don't know if they still exist!
TFH?
FAMA?
Others?
I'm mostly interested in freshwater, so if the magazine is dedicated to salt, I'm out!
Thanks in advance for your opinions and suggestions!

TFH & Practical Fishkeeping. The latter has a Livebearer column.

I might go with TFH to start off... Practical Fishkeeping is rather expensive!!

Probably because its out of the UK  . You can often pick up old issues at club auctions, and they're still full of useful info. Some libraries may even carry them.

I doubt there is any available in Quebec, french speaking province!
I checked out a good LFS yesterday, and they don't order any for their customers.
Might try to find a few copies when I drive down to Montreal next week!

I forgot about that part... maybe advertise in the other Eastern forums for back issues - ground shipping shouldn't be too bad from there.

I just subscribed to TFH and I really like it. You can always get a trial issue to see if you like it. It does have some saltwater but it's a nice and thick magazine.
