The yellow is going a bit more into the body now from the tail. This male is about 3" long and it is a passive one. I have another 3" long purple fin/tail male which is more aggressive than the other 2 4" males... On the side note, one of the 2.5" female spawned and hold (not full term) with the purple fins/tail 3" male. I have no idea this jumbo variant can spawn so early...

My remaining pair of gold ocellatus... I can't decide where to put them. Right now, they are in a 20 gallon 30" tank with 3 neolamp. Nigriventris and 6 neolamp. helianthus juv..

Last but not least... These are my newly aquired Juli. Ornatus... I put them in with my paracyps./kitumba/xeno. tank... So far so good...

wait till he is an adult... the purple color on fin and yellow color on tail will cover the body...
