Not to brag, well, yes I am bragging. I've now joined the world of central air conditioning.

The installers finished up yesterday morning and when I got home from a day of work in a shop as hot as an oven, I had a nice cool home to relax in.

Can't even put into words how good that felt. I even had to cover myself with a sheet in bed last night. Best nights sleep I've had in a month !

It's gonna take me a long time to pay for it all, but I think it was worth it.

It is absolutely worth the investment, I agree. The heat can cause such misery, especially in sleep-loss. Congrat's on the install!

Sounds great! Could've used that here when we were setting all time records for temperatures.:wideeyed: Was that just last week? I don't know anymore. :err: I think the heat fried some of my brain cells.

Enjoy your new found air-conditioned comfort!

Maybe I'll have to start doing fishroom tours, for a small entrance fee.

Will I have to move my bed for those or are we charging more for people to see it?

Forget the bed, have a rock 'n' roll vacuuming show

A/C is worth it twice over 'cuz it adds value to the house too right?

With or without the gold speedo/trident?

It should add value to the house, it's something I'd look for when buying a house.

One day I'm gonna learn to keep my big mouth shut.

I really don't think anyone would pay to see that anyway.

That depends on a couple of disturbing questions I have.
Probably best not discussed in a family forum

Meet my new best friend, doesn't talk much, but works hard.

Actually, the unit is very quiet, so it shouldn't annoy the neighbors .

I have no idea what could be disturbing about my unmade bed - I didn't say I'd be in it...lol.

Couldn't it be stolen? :wideeyed:

If the thieves can disconnect the 220 volts feeding it and safely disconnected the refrigerant without severely damaging themselves. Besides the fact it's really heavy.

The first reasonable day we get, I'm going to rebuild the deck around it. That should make it a permanent addition.

Yup, they somehow think that its ok for us to work our butt off for what we have and they can have it for nothing. The epitamy of LOSER.

I dunno, taking a backhoe to an ATM is pretty neat if you ask me :)

It's not like the bank worked for the money!

Hmmmm we could just steal the tanks kidnap Blaine, shackle him to the tanks and make him 'The Fish Guy'

Then again he'd prolly like that.

Isn't making a comment about a trident and something gold as part of the uniform...I'm just **thinking** it!

You might want to adjust the uniform a bit, I don't quite have the figure I had as a younger man.

Much better - no young man would like 'old chicks' anyways...lol.

Maybe we should just backhoe Blaine's house? Those tank racks are pretty sturdy, they should probably take it...
