:Turtle: You can select more than one! :FishQuestion:

I'd like to get a feel for what everyone is into so I know what to spend the most time on. Otherwise you'll have a site full of stuff I'M into....lol.

If I've missed anything, please let me know!

My fave's are the Loaches, closely followed by the Cichlids and then the Livebearers and Algae Eaters are both about even on my list.

You forgot plants :)
Some people only have fish to complement their 'scape.
Wierd I know, but I understand them as a fellow plant nerd:GEEK:

My fav tank has cichlids. I have corydoras in almost every tank. I've never kept loaches but that's what I would like to try if I had room for a big tank.

Thanks for your input everyone. Good point Mr. SB, I guess I think of plants as an ornament...lol...I don't know if I can change it or not, but people are also welcome to add their love for plants in a reply here.

My knowledge of plants is somewhat limited (understatement). But we do have lots of plant knowledge on the team in general. I'm sure that Ms. Candice and Mr. Grandpoobah are writing interesting articles as we speak. Maybe even Mr. Mykiss. Maybe even our resident 'Horticulture dude in training', Mr. SB. The plant brilliance around here will blow members away, it will. Any minute now.

Thank goodness we could pick more that one, cause each set of fish has their own special qualities, so could never pick a favourite. Some fish I have for their colours (Boesemani, neon rainbows, guppies, rr minows, snails & shrimp ), some for their beautiful flowing finns(lf bns & swords), some because of their personality, antics and cuteness (H. Furmosas, bns, albino cories & pandas) Actually some would fit into more than one category.

lol That's what I find with most of these polls - there's only one choice so I just pick whatever I happen to like most that day.

Inverts sure have gained in popularity in the past couple of years, yet there's still very little out there about them, let alone any choice of discussion boards that cover them. Methinks that's a good one to concentrate on for sure.

Livebearers have also increased in popularity. I think that's largely due to Ted Colleti's column in TFH myself. Many people had no idea what was out there for Livebearers because stores never get the wild-types in. I also think people got disgusted because of the bad shape they're often in at the retail level - a lot of that started with chains. I still find great Livebearers at the smaller stores though.

I have about 30 tanks full of corys at the moment (too many kinds to list at the moment) and breeding several kinds of them. Also have some livebearers (tequila goodeids, endlers, F1 sailfin molly's, Heterandria formosa), several kinds of barbs (red panda, green, odessa, golden, checkered, etc.. etc..), 3 kinds of bristlenose (albino, ancistrus punctatus - L182, and ancistrus triradiatus) and a few cichlids (lamprologus ocellatus 'gold', lamprologus melagris, Labidochromis sp. 'mbumba', and Metriaclima estherae)

Sounds like a nice collection - what size/how many tanks do you have?

I rarely use the messengers actually - they distract me from my work, and this place does that enough....lol. The best way to reach me is through PM.

That goes under Cichlids....ROFL...OK so it doesn't. You're right! I don't keep them so I forgot. I still don't know how to edit that poll, but I think Jay said its possible and listed a bunch of technical things I had to do. I deleted it because it made my head hurt  . I thought I was a techie until I looked at BB software.
