Always nice to hear that humans are trying to undo the damage they've done. Atlantic Salmon disappeared from Lake Ontario over a hundred years ago, due to dams and destruction of habitat. Now, thanks to private funding, the Atlantic Salmon is back in Lake Ontario.
I find it interesting that they're introducing several species of Atlantic Salmon and "...will leave it to the fish to decide how they should mate with each other and evolve their genetic makeup."
