I visited the big local pond/koi store this week, and thought I'd share the pics for the heck of it  It's called Okanagan Koi (I think).
I hear they swim with the fish in the big pond with the deck :) I was also blown away to hear that Koi can live 85-100 years! My favorite pond was the 4th one down, the swarm of little bright yellow and black guys all charged toward me at the surface when I went near...

One other neat thing was their consignment sales pond with some real monsters. There were a couple in there over 20" long, They were over $250 IIRC.

Dunno where you're going to sleep, Mr. SB, but I'm coming to your house for my Summer vacation and that's the first tourist attraction I'm visiting!

Thanks for sharing the pic's!

It's in Kelowna at the eastern edge of town on hwy 33.

Glad you guys liked the pics, I'm pretty pumped to get a pond going ASAP!
Unfortunately that'll have to be next season :realmad:

Wow! Fantastic pics... thanks for posting. Sure makes me wish I had a yard in which to build a pond. Must remember to check that place out next time I'm up that way.

Another pond? You're going to make a lot of folks here more than a little envious. Of course, we can enjoy your ponds vicariously but to do so, we'll need pics.::D:
