Another story that proves one never knows everything about this hobby....
I paniced. I admit it. I had just sent a pair of fish home with Ms. FishEnthusiast from this tank and I had a shipment of fish coming out of it for tomorrow. Before I ship, I observe, just in case. That's when I spotted a Red Velvet Platy with this tube that looked like airline tubing coming out of it :Eeewww: .

"What in God's name is THAT!?!"
So I did what any other competent, experienced fish-keeper would do. I screamed loud and long for Mr. Mykiss....lol....there's a reason that man is a Mentor here you know ;) .
After a pause in replying, which I strongly suspect was caused by him supressing laughter, he explained that my fishie is a piglet, who gulps a lot of air as she hogs everything down. Nothing to worry about, he tells me.
After I replied, I realized what he was saying and I had caught it on film - my fish farted.
