EAST COAST AQUARIUM SOCIETY
:clownfish:
Quoted from the ECAS website (http://www.eastcoastaquariumsociety.ca/):
The East Coast Aquarium Society consists of aquarists from across the Maritimes and beyond who are dedicated to furthering the aquarium hobby and promoting the practice of keeping tropical fish through the dissemination of information.
Our goal of introducing local enthusiasts to a wider community to share knowledge, successes and failures as well as encourage growth is of benefit to us all. We invite you to share your stories, plant clippings and fry with other Members, as well as attending our monthly meetings, bi-annual auctions and yearly fish shows.
Membership: There are many benefits and privileges of joining the ECAS Membership. For instance, we offer our Members the quarterly newsletter "Tanked"; opportunities to buy livestock and dry goods though bulk orders; store discounts; field trips to collect driftwood and rocks; auctions and fish shows; and shopping nights at local fish stores in the Maritime region.
Our Members can also join programs such as the Breeders Award Program (BAP) and the Horticulturalist Award Program (HAP) which offer hobbyists rewards for species breeding and plant propagation. The ECAS offers four types of Memberships to the Society:
Family - $30.00
Single - $20.00
Youth/Student - $10.00
Seniors are free.
