Will this do the trick?? Is there anything I should do to make it more attractive to my pleco's? Preferably Albino BN.

My dremmel tool with a ceramic tile bit to cut and a stone sanding bit to round rough edges. Took about 10 mins max. do I need to cover the hole at the top, or will they be happy as is??

Pam would be a better person to ask from me, I just got a few of her baby abn's about a month ago. I love them and am totally sucked in now.

most plecs like a bit tighter cave but such will do in a pinch. Also your Sultan plecs do prefer driftwood as caves if you can find such. If you intend to breed them then a few caves will be necessary as well something tight fitting... lol
both the Sultan and the Tiger will require meat in their diet... but I seem to remember you mentioning krill in the past anyway so you should be fine there.

All tanks get a combo of blood worms, Brine shrimp, Cyclopy's (sp), beef heart, cucumber, broccoli, peas, algae wafers,Tetramin Pro, Tetracolor, zuccuni, etc.... so they have a reg cycle of variety. I've been digging like crazy for info about how to breed the Sultan's. All I can find are threads saying there's no info. Is there anything else you can tell me?? I'll get some 1.5 - 2" Abs pipe tomorrow and roll it in gravel with a slate end cap on it. And... I have a big peice of driftwood that I can drill out for a cave. THANKS for the info!!!!

That's cute! Definitly go lower on the cave when you have a chance, or give Paul at Pacific Aquatics (http://www.pacificaquatics.ca) a call and order some barnacles.

Best info I can find for breeding is
Current is strongly recommended. Prospective breeders should be fed with increasing frequency. Low conductivity is reported to help. Fry have proven troublesome to raise
Also with these guys watch your nitrates as they rather intolerant of high nitrates
there was also an article done back in September 2001 in DATZ magazine but I can't seem to find a copy of the article. That and I am not sure if it is in english. But DATZ is the international standard for a lot of the L number plecos.
Documented in the DATZ special issue ''Loricariids 2'' , September 2001.

If its in German, you may talk Christian into translating. I hear he's a sucker for a pretty face in goggles.
