Canadian Aquarium Connection 2007 'Will Work 4 Food' Contest
Official Rules
CONTEST DURATION
The contest will begin as of the date and time of this posting and will close at 21:00 PDT on September 29, 2007.
ELIGIBILITY
All individuals who are registered members of Canadian Aquarium Connection either at the time of the start of the contest or before the closing date and time of the contest are eligible to enter with the following exceptions. Administrators of Canadian Aquarium Connection, or members of their immediate family and/or those individuals living in the same household of each are NOT eligible. Members who are Banned by Canadian Aquarium Connection as of the closing date of the contest are also NOT eligible. Canadian Aquarium Connection reserves the right to verify all eligibility requirements.
PRIZE ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to win a prize a member must post an article to the Guest Author & Member Contributed Articles (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=53) or post a profile in the Profiles: Fish and More (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=61) written by himself/herself. Any plagiarism or copyright infringement will result in immediate disqualification. All members who have, prior to the start of this contest, submitted Articles and/or Profiles to the aforementioned sections will automatically be entered into the Contest.
Each submission (as outlined above) will be entitle a member to one entry into the Contest thus allowing members to increase their odds of winning a prize. However, only one prize will be awarded to any one member.
Prizes will only be awarded to members who upon being notified of having won a prize, provide the Administrator(s) of Canadian Aquarium Connection of their actual name and a valid Canadian mailing address, to enable the awarding and shipping of the prize to the winner. This confidential information will not be shared with anyone.
PRIZES
A total of six (6) prizes will be awarded. These prizes are provided by Aquanourriplus.com (http://www.aquanourriplus.com/)
One (1) Main Prize: Five (5) pounds of flake food (10 x ½ pound bags)
Five (5) additional prizes each consisting of One (1) pound of flake food (2 x ½ pound bags)Additional note: Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Canadian Aquarium Connection reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the prize is unavailable or for any other reason it deems necessary.
PRIZE WINNERS
Winners will be decided by a random draw after the closing date and time of the contest. Only one prize will be awarded per member. All decisions of Canadian Aquarium Connection regarding the award of prizes are final.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
Winners will be notified by the Administrator(s) by a Private Message on the Canadian Aquarium Connection website Winners will have 2 weeks (14 days) from the date of attempted notification to reply to this notification and accept their prizes. Failure to reply within this time frame or non compliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and, at the discretion of Canadian Aquarium Connection, the prize will be revoked.
POSTING OF WINNERS LIST
A list of winning members posted by their website USERNAME, their number of referrals and prizes awarded will be posted on the Canadian Aquarium Connection website once all prizes have been awarded.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
By participating, members agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of Canadian Aquarium Connection and its sponsors, which are final and binding in all respects. Members agree to hold Canadian Aquarium Connection, its sponsors, and their respective families, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, and the respective directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing (collectively, the "Released Parties"), harmless against any and all claims and/or liability arising out of or in connection with participation in this contest, acceptance, use or redemption of a prize, and/or use of any rights granted herein.
Released Parties are not responsible for late, delayed, misdirected, lost, damaged, or undelivered communications, including but not limited to private messages and email; or for any other errors or problems of any kind relating to or in connection with the contest, including, but not limited to errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the contest, the calculation of referrals, the announcement of the prizes or winners or in any contest-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any injury or damage to person(s) or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from an individual’s participation in the contest.
