This is awsome.. at least I think so:yes: About two weeks ago I was walking by the 125 gal and saw something stuck on one of my swordtails mouth. It was desperately trying to eat it, but it was stuck to her lip and she couldn't get it in her mouth. I didn't realize my cory's had spawned and to this day I never found the other eggs.
Anyway... I wasn't sure if it was even worth stressing the fish to get the egg but I went for it. I netted her and the egg rubbed off onto the net , then I released her. Not much stress at all. I never thought after all of that the egg would actually survive, but it looked in tact so I chucked it into the nursery alone. No other cory's in there. After a few days I couldn't find the egg anymore and stopped looking, I never found a cory fry. I just now went to feed the shrimp in the nursery tank and who was there waiting for dinner... you got it.. my lucky little cory fry. Man that cat has some kind of luck!!!!
